Ingredients

How to make it

  • **Remember to clean peppers carefully--use gloves**
  • In small bowl, combine cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper.
  • Spread mixture into inside of each pepper half.
  • Wrap 1 bacon piece around each pepper, starting and ending so ends of bacon are on underside of pepper.
  • Grill over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until bacon and peppers begin to crisp.

These are the bomb, we love poppers and these are a keeper. I would have never thought to add liquid smoke, guess that's why I save recipe instead of posting them.

Wow!! I made these just a few minutes ago, and I'm eating them now. The bacon is perfect with the jalapenos. It brings just enough saltiness to it all. And the lemon/worcestershire sauce addition adds a flavor that would be missed if they were omitted. Awesome, and just in time for the game!! (if they last that long…)

I totally made this a couple of weeks ago when I made Maltys BEAT Sandwich and didn't even realize it, lol! I had extra cream cheese mixture leftover from the sandwich and I was making a variety of stuffed japs and thought it would go great in there. I stuffed them and wrapped with bacon. The only difference is that I baked mine instead of grilling. AWESOME!!!!! The flavor is excellent and my husband said these were his favorite out of the 4 different kinds I made made...Thanks, Keni! :)

Keni...would this work with turkey bacon? My husband won't eat pork (personal, not religious, preference) but loves jalepenos. I'd like to make this for him!
