Tangy Summer Cole Slaw

- 1 pkg (3 oz) chicken ramen noodles shopping list
- 3 3/4 cups coleslaw mix shopping list
- 1/3 cup silvered almonds shopping list
- 3 T. onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup veggie oil, or olive oil shopping list
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 3 T. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, break noodles into small pieces. Set aside seasoning packet.
- Add the coleslaw mix, almonds and the onions.
- In a small bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, sugar and seasoning packet. Wisk together well.
- Pour over coleslaw mixture and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
- Refrigerate leftovers. 4-6 servings
- This makes enough dressing to accomodate a whole bag of slaw mix.

This is one of our favorite "non-mayo" recipes. It is a must for the camping trips or picnics. I have no worries when I make this in the Florida heat.
