Dinner In A Pumpkin Recipe

This is a fun recipe for Halloween parties for the kids or just for a fun supper.

Ingredients
- Small to medium pumpkin
- 1 chopped onion
- 11/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
- 2 Tbs soy sauce
- 2 TBs brown sugar
- 14 oz. can mushrooms
- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 11/2 cups cooked rice
- 1 18 oz. can water chestnuts
Directions
- Cut the top off the pumpkin and clean out the seeds and pulp.
- Paint a face on the pumpkin using permanent marker or acrylic paints.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In skillet, brown onion, ground beef, drain.
- Add 2 Tbs. soy sauce, 2 Tbs. brown sugar, mushrooms and cream of chicken soupd.
- Simmr for 10 minutes.
- Add cooked rice and water chestnuts.
- Spoon into cleaned out pumpkin shell.
- Place top back on pump and place on baking sheet.
- Bake 1 hour or until the meat of the pumpking is tender.
