How to make it

  • Cut the top off the pumpkin and clean out the seeds and pulp.
  • Paint a face on the pumpkin using permanent marker or acrylic paints.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In skillet, brown onion, ground beef, drain.
  • Add 2 Tbs. soy sauce, 2 Tbs. brown sugar, mushrooms and cream of chicken soupd.
  • Simmr for 10 minutes.
  • Add cooked rice and water chestnuts.
  • Spoon into cleaned out pumpkin shell.
  • Place top back on pump and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake 1 hour or until the meat of the pumpking is tender.

    I know I have an old photo from 25+ years ago when the kids were little and we had our annual halloween party. Just have to find the photo now.
