How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients as listed in a small jar with a tight fitting lid (baby food jars work well).
  • Shake mixture to combine. Stores for months. Keep out of direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
  • Make a batter in a bowl by mixing in water(or sparking) or milk or beer
  • Dip your veggies in one at a time
  • broccoli, cauliflower, aubergine, onion, carrots, tofu, potato, peppers, okra, baby sweetcorn, frozen spinich, garlic cloves, courgettes
  • no vegetables?... try a slice of bread cut into 2 or 4 peices
  • Drop coated veggies into batter and deep fry over medium heat
  • Cook for a few minutes depending on the vegetable
  • Alternatively bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on kitchen paper before serving
