- 2 Tablespoon. paprika shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon. onion salt shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon celery salt shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon. rubbed sage shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon ground allspice shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon ground oregano shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon. chili powder shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon sweet basil leaves, crushed shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon. marjoram leaves, crushed fine shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon light brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon. salt. shopping list
- 1 cup. flour (chickpea/self raising white/any) shopping list
- water, milk or beer shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients as listed in a small jar with a tight fitting lid (baby food jars work well).
- Shake mixture to combine. Stores for months. Keep out of direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
- Make a batter in a bowl by mixing in water(or sparking) or milk or beer
- Dip your veggies in one at a time
- broccoli, cauliflower, aubergine, onion, carrots, tofu, potato, peppers, okra, baby sweetcorn, frozen spinich, garlic cloves, courgettes
- no vegetables?... try a slice of bread cut into 2 or 4 peices
- Drop coated veggies into batter and deep fry over medium heat
- Cook for a few minutes depending on the vegetable
- Alternatively bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on kitchen paper before serving
