How to make it

  • Melt the butter and oil together.
  • Fry the steaks however you like them
  • Remove from frying pan and keep warm,
  • Add the chopped garlic to the pan and fry, together with the mustard.
  • Add the coffee and let it reduce a bit.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the cream and strirr well.
  • Return the steaks to the pan to warm up.
  • Serve with thick french-fries and salad

    Did this yesterday,
    The mix between, mustard, cream, coffee, and garlic, tasted like a a great potential.
    Although in the suggested proportions I couldnt get it to have a good look/texture and taste. It tasted overly bitter. And overall it seemed like missing something, whenever you put it in your mouth you wait for the next flavor to come, but there is none.
    On the consistency of it, maybe starting with a roux would improve it, so that it stayed on the top of the stake.
