- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cold butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons canned green chilies, chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons canned pimiento peppers, chopped shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list

- 1/2 tsp poppy seeds shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds shopping list
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cormeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Add the chilies and pimientos. shopping list
- Stir in the beaten egg and milk, just until combined. shopping list
- Drop by large spoonfuls, about 2 tablespoons each, onto an oiled baking sheet. Bake the biscuits in a 450 degree oven for 13 to 15 minutes. shopping list

- Brush tops of biscuits with egg white. Combine poppy seeds and sesame seeds in a small bowl, and sprinkle seed mixture evenly over biscuit tops. shopping list
