Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • Mix well.
  • Refrigerate for two hours.
  • Roll into small balls.
  • Heat oil to 340 degrees in large frying pan or deep fryer.
  • Drop hushpuppies a few at a time and cook in small batches until lightly browned (about 2 to 3 minutes)
  • Drain on paper towels
  • * if batter is too thin, add a little more flour after the first batch.
