Hush-Hush Sweet puppies

- 1 package Jiffy corn bread mix shopping list
- 1 tablespoon flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions(green part only) shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped onions shopping list
- 1/3 cup finely chopped bell pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cajun spice shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 3 tablespoons milk shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Mix well.
- Refrigerate for two hours.
- Roll into small balls.
- Heat oil to 340 degrees in large frying pan or deep fryer.
- Drop hushpuppies a few at a time and cook in small batches until lightly browned (about 2 to 3 minutes)
- Drain on paper towels
- * if batter is too thin, add a little more flour after the first batch.
