How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare 9 x 13-inch baking pan by spraying with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  • In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and butter.
  • Cook and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and pour into a large mixing bowl.
  • Cool completely.
  • With electric mixer on medium speed, beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • By hand, stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in marshmallow mixture.
  • Stir in walnuts.
  • Spread evenly over cookie crust.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and let cool.
  • FOR FROSTING:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine marshmallows, milk, butter, and chocolate.
  • Cook and stir over low heat until smooth and melted.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Beat in confectioner's sugar with mixer.
  • Spread over brownies and cut into bars.
