Ingredients
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 cup commercial sour cream
  • 5 to 6 medium peaches, peeled and thinly sliced

Directions
  1. Bake pie shell at 400 degrees for 7 minutes; set aside.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well.
  3. Spoon into pastry shell.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, and bake 25 to 30 additional minutes.
  6. Yield: one 9-inch pie.
