Tootsie Rum Balls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 C Rum
  • 2 T Butter
  • 5 1/2 oz. pkg. bite-size Tootsie Rolls
  • 1 pkg. (not whole box of) Graham Crackers, crushed
  • 1 c. Walnuts, chopped fine
  • 1 C Powderd Sugar

Directions
  1. Melt Tootsie Rolls, butter and rum over low heat.
  2. Add crackers and nuts.
  3. Remove from heat and cool till can easily be worked into balls.
  4. Roll into balls, then roll in powdered sugar.
  5. Store in airtight container.
  6. Of course, number of servings depend on the size you make them...I usually make a double batch...they don't last long!
