Sassy Water Recipe
This is a recipe from the Flat Belly Diet, that spruces up your regular, plain water, and aids in digestion

Ingredients
  • 2 liters water
  • 1 tsp fresh, grated ginger
  • 12 mint leaves
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in pitcher.
  2. Drink all in one day.
  3. (if you let it sit overnight, the flavors are stronger...personal preference)
  4. Enjoy!

Is this water a diuretic? Will this cause a colon clense and reguire freguent trips to the bathroom?


Oh Heavens no! It's not a colon cleanse at all! Ginger does "help calm and soothe your GI tract." But mostly the added ingredients (lemon, mint & cucumber) are just for flavor, to help you drink the amount of water that you need in a day!
