This recipe is a holiday dish in Israel .
each ingredient is symbolic of the events in EXODUS.
The sauce is the red sea, the raisins are the Egyptians, and the white pine nuts are their horses..........i really hope you enjoy this dish...........

What an interesting recipe! I don't know what to make of it, but I have to say that it's got me interested. I am intrigued to say the least. My curriousity I won't be satisfied until I try it.
