Just bought some Armour Dried Beef in a 4.5 oz jar, so I will double this recipe. I've only had this once or twice, a long time ago, when my SIL made it, and I really liked it a lot. Thank you for posting this recipe.

I haven't done this in over a decade. My husband likes it, but not the kids - I use deli meat in it's place. In our stores it is in a pouch now instead of a glass jar.

Perfect! This one I grew up on too. It was one of my favorites as a kid. I haven't been able to find it in the stores though. I'm sure it is there somewhere. I have been wanting to make it.
    Thanks for a great recipe.
