Pickled Beets

                    - 2 cans (1 lb. each) sliced beets shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 3/4 c. vinegar shopping list
- 3 cinnamon sticks shopping list
How to make it 
                    - Drain beets, reserving liquid.
- In small sauce pan, combine sugar,vinegar ,cinnamon sticks and reserved liquid.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly until sugar melts.
- Place beets in a bowl and pour in liquid. Cool and cover bowl and refridgerate for at least 8 hours.
- To serve, remove with slotted spoon.
- Makes 3 cups.
