Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain beets, reserving liquid.
  • In small sauce pan, combine sugar,vinegar ,cinnamon sticks and reserved liquid.
  • Heat to boiling, stirring constantly until sugar melts.
  • Place beets in a bowl and pour in liquid. Cool and cover bowl and refridgerate for at least 8 hours.
  • To serve, remove with slotted spoon.
  • Makes 3 cups.

    Mmmmmm and ymmmmm ~ we LOVE beets! Great "5" fork recipe and I know because this is very similar to how I make our pickled beets!
