No Bake Cashew Brittle Bars

- 11/4c old fashioned oats shopping list
- 1c(about 5oz) salted cashews shopping list
- 11/2oz(3Tbs)unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2c packed dark brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 3Tbs light corn syrup shopping list
- 1Tbs molasses shopping list
- 1/2tsp coarse salt shopping list
How to make it
- Line a 41/2x9" loaf pan with plastic wrap,leaving a 1" overhang on each long side. Toast oats and cashews in a large skillet over med-high heat,stirring often,until aromatic and just starting to turn golden brown,5-6 mins. Transfer to med. bowl.
- Add butter,sugar,cinnamon,corn syrup,molasses and salt in skillet,and cook over med.heat,stirring,until butter melts and mixture bubbles,2-3 mins.. Pour hot mixture over oats and cashews,and stir to combine
- Transfer mixture to loaf pan. Using a spatula,press mixtureinto an even layer. Refrigerate till set,about 30 mins Remove chilled mixture from pan using plastic,discard plastic wrap and cut into 1" thick bars
