Ingredients

6 large Spanish onions

2 tbsp each:

basil

thyme

oregano

lemon pepper (unsalted)

minced garlic

tinfoil

Directions

cut off both ends of the onions, and remove the outer peel

combine in a bowl:

basil, thyme, oregano, lemon pepper and garlic

Combine thoroughly

Cut crosswise slits into the onions, and add a generous amount of the mixture of herbs and spices

Envelope with heavy-duty tinfoil, and set onto the barbecue grill, lid closed. Cook at medium-high heat for 25 minutes, or until done to your preference.

OMG! This sounds super good!! I have to try it! I love onions in just about anything! A friend tells me that her mom said "when your husband is coming home and you haven't gotten dinner started, put some onions in a pan with some oil and start them cooking. He'll gladly wait for dinner." Cute, huh?
