Three shots of bourbon and three dozen tasty sweets too. How can you beat that? Great recipe - saving to make soon. I need to buy some bourbon. :)

Oh, I don't drink but my mother was an expert at making bourbon candy. She would buy the Kentucky Bourbon straight from here. We have distilleries all over my area. She made the delicious chocolate covered ones. She is disabled now, but she wants me to continue the tradition but it interferes with my religion so I have to think on that. Anyway, she made this style too and you brought back memories. Memories of her in the kitchen whipping up hundreds of bourbon balls for her friends and orders from people who bought them from her each holiday. Thanks for bringing back the memories! This is what my mother misses most, making her bourbon candy.

Sounds similar to the rum balls I make around Christmas time. Delicious! - Nat
