How to make it

  • Roast the poppy. Keep aside. Seeds and make a paste add green chilli and required water.
  • Make paste from cashew nut adding water.
  • Mix salt and turmeric powder with the boiled potato pcs and fry them slightly. Drain away the oil and transfer it to a plate.
  • Add bay leaf to the oil (you can use different pan and heat oil)
  • Add onion slices, fry till golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste. Stir for 3mins till cooked. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, curry powder and stir for some time.
  • Add fried potato pcs mix it with the masala. Add poppy seed paste and cashew nut paste and stir for 1 min.
  • Add warm water and let it boil for 3 min. adjust salt and add pinch of garam masala.
  • When the gravy thickens its ready to serve.
  • Serve garnishing with very finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and dash it with cream.
