Curried potato

- potato (medium)- 4 nos . Boiled. Peeled and cut in to 4pc shopping list
- onion – 1 medium, sliced finely shopping list
- ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp shopping list
- Turmeric powder- shopping list
- salt shopping list
- Red chilli powder- shopping list
- Curry powder- 1tsp shopping list
- Poppy seed paste- 1 tbs shopping list
- cashew nut paste- ½ tbs shopping list
- Cream- ½ tbs shopping list
- Bay leaf – 1 shopping list
- oil to fry shopping list
- Garam masala- a pinch shopping list
- water – 1 cup shopping list
- coriander leaves very finely chopped- ¼ cup shopping list
How to make it
- Roast the poppy. Keep aside. Seeds and make a paste add green chilli and required water.
- Make paste from cashew nut adding water.
- Mix salt and turmeric powder with the boiled potato pcs and fry them slightly. Drain away the oil and transfer it to a plate.
- Add bay leaf to the oil (you can use different pan and heat oil)
- Add onion slices, fry till golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste. Stir for 3mins till cooked. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, curry powder and stir for some time.
- Add fried potato pcs mix it with the masala. Add poppy seed paste and cashew nut paste and stir for 1 min.
- Add warm water and let it boil for 3 min. adjust salt and add pinch of garam masala.
- When the gravy thickens its ready to serve.
- Serve garnishing with very finely chopped fresh coriander leaves and dash it with cream.
