Shrimp saganaki

- 12 giant shrimps peeled tail on, intestine out, ( you see as a dark stripe on top). shopping list
- 2 ripe tomatoes shredded. shopping list
- 1 tbs tomato paste. shopping list
- 2 tbs chives chopped. shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic chopped. shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped. shopping list
- 1 hot chili, seeds out, chopped shopping list
- 1 ts chili flakes for hotter if you wish. shopping list
- 1 c dry white whine. shopping list
- 1/4 c olive oil. shopping list
- 1 c chicken broth from cube. shopping list
- 2 tbs lemon juice. shopping list
- 1 1/2 feta cheese crumbled. shopping list
- salt, pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- In a deep frying pan saute onion, garlic and chili in olive oil for 8 min on medium heat.
- Add chives and cook 5 min more.
- Add shrimps and whine cook for 5 min on low heat.
- Add half of the broth and all other ingredients except feta cheese and chili flakes, cook for 20 min on low heat till sauce thickens,( if sauce is to thick add more broth).
- Taste with salt, pepper and chili flakes.
- Add feta cheese and finish after 2 min.
- Serve hot with lots of bread to dip in the sauce.
