White Cake With Raspberry Sauce Recipe

This recipe and photo are from a Taste of Home 2002 issue......
I just love raspberries and thought it looked great for being such an easy recipe.

Ingredients
- Cake
- 1 package (18 1/4 oz) white cake mix
- or
- chocolate would work too
- Frosting
- 4 ounces of cream cheese softened
- 1 C confectioners' sugar
- 1 C whipping cream.whipped
- Topping
- 1 carton (16 oz) strawberry glaze
- 1/2 c water
- 2 1/2 C fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries
Directions
- Cake
- Prepare and bake cake as directed using a 9x13 pan
- Cool on wire rack
- Frosting
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth, stir in whipped cream
- Spread over cooled cake
- Refrigerate until serving
- Topping
- Just before serving combine strawberry glaze and water in a bowl and gently fold in raspberries
- Serve over cake slices
- 12 - 15 servings
