2 of 10 of my Christmas candy recipes. These caramels are soft, rich, and delicious. They are versatile, too. My sisters come and help me make my candies around Christmas every year, so they can get 'paid' for their help with these caramels.

Oh Natalie, Thank you for finding my recipe for caramels for me. That is the same exact recipe that my Grandma made. And when I moved in January (even if it was just next door)I lost the recipe. Nat - Sorry to be a pain - you have 2C of sugar listed in the ingredients but you don't say when to use it. Would I melt it in the pan with the butter cream and corn syrup?
