Johns Mushrooms

- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/4 cup wine shopping list
- 8 ounces chicken or beef broth shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in skillet over medium-high heat
- Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are lightly browned, about 5 minutes
- Pour in wine, increase heat to high, and cook until liquid has evaporated, about 8 minutes.
- Add broth, lower heat and simmer until liquid thickens, about 10 minutes.

I love sauteed mushrooms, but I've never made them with broth/wine. This is much more dressed-up than my plain old sauteed mushrooms in buter. Great post! - Natalie
