melange a trois peppers

This is a delicious appetizer using red, yellow and green peppers....it is actually a French dish used for a snack or an appetizer. I use the big Ak Mak crackers with sesame seeds for this and it's very good.
Ingredients
- Red, yellow and green peppers shopping list
- lemon shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- garlic shopping list
- fresh tomato and shopping list
- tomato sauce shopping list
- red wine shopping list
- finely chopped green onions shopping list
How to make it
- Heat up fry pan and saute garlic and onions
- add red and green peppers sliced up or chopped up
- Trader Joes has all three peppers, green, orange and red in the frozen section...
- buy these or use fresh and
- put in a fry pan with olive oil
- squeeze some fresh lemon on top
- add fresh tomato and also some tomato sauce
- add a dab of red wine
- let this cook for a little while
- add garlic or crushed garlic to this
- squeeze some lemon in the fry pan while this is all
- simmering
- serve over Ak Mak crackers or your favorite crackers big enough to spread this on....
- top with some finely chopped up green onions...
- This actualy a French Dish
