How to make it

  • Cook raisins in 1/2 cup sugar and water until plump.
  • Combine flour, egg yolks and milk.
  • Blend into raisins; cook until thickened.
  • Pour over baked pie shell.
  • Cool.
  • Top with whipped cream.

    Yes, Id like to know about the sugar too. Rasin Pie is my mom's favorite pie. I can't find it in the stores so I've had to make them -- with not the best results. I'll have to show these 2 to her and see which one she prefers. (Which one do you prefer?) Thanks for posting these.

    Hi, sounds like a great recipe, but I'm a bit confused on the amount of sugar, cause in your list of ingredients it says 1 cup but your directions say 1/2 cup. I would sure like to make it but will wait to hear from you.
