Wisconsin Chicken Breast Casserole Recipe
This Wisconsin farm house favorite is easy to prepare and taste delicious. It's filling and healthy. Add a side salad and dig in.

Ingredients
  • 5 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
  • one 4 1/2 ounce jar dried beef
  • 16 ounce carton sour cream
  • two 10-oz. cans cream of mushroom soup
  • one 10-oz. can water, approximately
  • 10 strips bacon
  • cooked white rice

Directions
  1. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with torn pieces of dried beef.
  2. Wrap each chicken breasts with 2 slices of bacon.
  3. Place chicken in baking dish, on top of dried beef.
  4. Combine soup, sour cream, and enough water (a little at a time) to make it a soup like thickness; mix well and pour over the chicken.
  5. Bake 2 hours, covered, at 275*F.
  6. Uncover and bake 1 hour longer.
  7. Remove from oven and serve hot over cooked white rice.
