Ingredients

How to make it

  • In nonstick or cast iron skillet, melt together margarine and EVOO (i know - but too lazy to type it all out! LOL)
  • Add to skillet chicken, sausage, peppers, onion, chiles and seasoning
  • Cook together about 10 minutes, until chicken is done and veggies are soft
  • Remove from heat
  • Lay tortilla on foreman grill, spread with 1/4 of the cheese, top with 1/4 the filling, and another tortilla
  • Grill about 2 minutes with lid closed (until crsip and cheese is melted)
  • Repeat with remaining ingredients
  • (If your foreman grill is small, layer the engredients on half the tortilla and fold remaining half over top)

    I made these last night in a frying pan. Actually my ingredients varied a bit from yours because I used what was at hand. Believe it or not, turkey and a "New Orleans style" sausage. The result was very good. Thanks.

    These do sound great. We are big fans of quesadllas as well and I love the combination and chicken and sausage. Great post and a high 5.
