HOMEMADE PANCAKE SYRUP

This is not as thick as store bought syrups, but the flavor is wonderful. I think you're gonna love it.
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- 1 c. buttermilk shopping list
- 1 T. vanilla shopping list
- 1 T. corn syrup shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- _______________________________________________________ shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan, mix all of the ingredients except the baking soda and heat until just bubbling. Whisk in the baking soda. Cook and stir for 10 seconds before removing from the heat. Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, biscuits or toast.

OMG!!! I was just telling my best friend that my mother used to make this, but that I had no recipe for it. I am not even waiting for the weekend to try this one--my kids are getting breakfast for dinner tomorrow night! Thanks for posting this!
