Homemade Pancake Syrup Recipe

This is not as thick as store bought syrups, but the flavor is wonderful. I think you're gonna love it.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 T. vanilla
- 1 T. corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- _______________________________________________________
Directions
- In a saucepan, mix all of the ingredients except the baking soda and heat until just bubbling. Whisk in the baking soda. Cook and stir for 10 seconds before removing from the heat. Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, biscuits or toast.
