My (Italian) parents and grandparents grew up eating this as well! I still do, but opt to dip my toast (or even a buttered bagel-YUM!) into a cup of coffee instead. Past co workers and even some friends, all looked at me with total disgust when they saw me do this, until THEY tried it and loved it! Thanks for posting!

My father use to put large crackers (I think they were called Social Crackers) in a bowl and pour coffee over it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Gee, I kind of thought everyone dunked good stuff into their coffee beyond the classic donut. Who knew? Good thing you've offered up this urgent tutorial. ;-)

My mom would eat this all the time! Thanks for the memory.

WOW! you got me hooked, i'll try this out in the morning! Thanks!

Another great post high5

Almost like a milk toast my mom used to put cinnamon and sugar on slices of bread and pour milk over it and broil it ...........my brother loved it this sounds unique thanks

This is too funny!!! Just like Flo said...my grandparents used to dunk their toast in their coffee also! It must be an Italian thing! They also dunked italian bread in their wine!

This is for my husband, he realy likes dunking. Thanks

Italian seem to be a pattern here we had buttered toast with cinnamon sugar that we dipped into milk as kids and coffee as adults.
Five forks and a smile for Carol :)

We love it! Our Mystic Morning blend would be the perfect coffee for it. You should submit this to one of our recipe contest at http://www.marleycoffee.com you could win free coffee.
