Harvard Beets

- 1 lb. can (2 c.) diced beets shopping list
- 2 Tbsps. sugar shopping list
- 1/4 Tbsp. cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 c. vinegar shopping list
- 2 Tbsps. butter or margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Drain beets, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.
- In sauce pan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Stir in reserved beet liquid and vinegar, and butter.
- Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
- Add beets and heat through.
- Serves 5.
