A nice confort meal
Ingredients
- MARINADE; shopping list
- 3# chicken-1 tsp. salt-2 cups yogurt-marinate for 30 minutes shopping list
- 1/3 cup of butter-1 onion-chopped-4 minced cloves of garlic-3 chilli peppers(or to taste)seeded and minced-2 tsp. ginger root minced-1/2 tsp. cinnamon-1/4 tsp. cardamon-1/2 tsp. cumin-4 mint leafs-3 bay leafs- saute until very fragrant, set aside. shopping list
- place yogurt and chicken in the pot with the spices and simmer 30 minutes or until done shopping list
- stir in 1 cup of long-grained rice-2 cups of water and 1/2 tsp. turmeric or a pinch of saffron- cook yntil rice is tender about 25 minutes shopping list
