Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel, core and slice fruits
  • Toss in lemon juice.
  • In large dutch over, combine remaining ingredients.
  • Add fruit to pot, and toss.
  • Cover and cook at 350 for 1-1 1/2 hours, until fruits are soft.
  • Run through food mill, sieve, or potato masher until desired consistency.
  • **this can be done in the slow cooker, but will take all day to cook. :) Just follow the recipe, as above, but cook on low for around 8 hours probably, but don't quote me on that..if you try the slow cooker, stay home with it, and let ME know how long it takes! ;)

    Hey, keni...would running fruit through my ricer work...i use it to make mashed potatoes..so i dont see why not..

    oh heck ya..i plan on making this as a substitute for cranbery sauce ( which noone eats)...for thanksgiving..thanks keni!! This is perfect.
