How to make it

  • Put sugar, vanilla, fresh fruit and half and half in a quart size zip top bag. Squeeze out all the air and mix the bag around to combine ingredients.
  • Place the quart size bag of icecream mixure in the gallon size bag.
  • Add the ice and salt to the gallon size bag.
  • Seal out the air and close tightly.
  • Wrap the bag up in a hand towel to avoid freezing your hands and shake baby shake...
  • 10 minutes you should have yummy soft serve icecream. Shake longer if you want it more firm.
  • Take the small bag out and rinse quickly under cold water to wash off salt.
  • Lay bag on flat surface, using a staight edge (wooden spoon hanlde works well) Push the ice cream down to the bottom corner of the baggie. Snip off corner of bag and squeeze out into bowl.
  • Try other mix ins too...I like Torani Irish Cream syrup with brownie pieces.
