A Light Cheese biscuit, savory snack. Another one the children can help to make

Ingredients
  • FOR THE CHEESE PASTRY
  • 4 oz plain flour
  • 2 oz butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 oz grated cheese
  • FOR THE FILLING
  • 1 oz butter
  • 2 oz grated cheese (or soft cheese without the butter)
  • salt and pepper to season

Directions
  1. Rub butter into the flour, add cheese and egg yolk
  2. Mix to a stiff paste
  3. roll out thinly
  4. Cut into small circles, cut half of the circles in half again
  5. Bake at 190c / gas 5 for about 15 min's
  6. Let cool down completely
  7. when cold spread the circle biscuits with the filling. (mix filling ingredients together to a creamy mixture)
  8. Neatly insert half circles to form wings
  9. Garnish with parsley
