Basil Tomato Tart

- 1 pie crust shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 4 medium roma tomatoes shopping list
- 1 cup fresh basil shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Bake pie crust.
- Immediately sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella.
- Cool.
- Cut tomatoes into wedges (I chop them instead) and drain on paper towels.
- Arrange tomatoes on the cheese in the crust.
- Chop basil and garlic in food processor.
- Put on top of the tomatoes, as evenly as possible.
- Combine remaining 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, mayonnaise & pepper.
- Spoon onto basil mixture, spreading evenlt to coat.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until golden & bubbly.
- If desired, garnish with basil leaves.
