Oh, Midge! All four of these recipes are sounding so tasty that I can't wait to make them. Of course, the apple/nut fluden will be the first I try!
Thanks.

After doing an internet search, fluden literally means " flat cake " there are different transliterations such as fladdel, fludi etc.
Hope this helps and glad you enjoyed the recipes!!

I just had to come back to tell you I made this today, and it was SOOOOO GOOOOOD!!! Little bit time consuming, but so worth it! I would recommend using a heavily floured surface, since the dough was a little sticky when you rolled it, also flour the rolling pin. I took a picture of it and added it, hope that's OK. It was really perfect - not too sweet, just right! Will make a great breakfast food as well, because of the fruit in there. Thanks again for this great recipe! I was also wondering about the word "fluden", cause when I told people what it was, they asked: "what is fluden?" I'm glad you explained.
