Serves 1

A friend gave me this recipe but I haven't tried them yet....Don't know if I have the nerve to try Dave's Insanity Sauce but I know there are those of you out there who do so I thought I'd share

dangerous
hot
sauce
rice
krispies
honey
cocoa
stovetop

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter shopping list
1 cup brown sugar shopping list
1/2 cup honey shopping list
1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
2 tbls. unsweetened cocoa powder shopping list
1/8 tsp. Dave's Insanity Sauce shopping list

8 cups Rice Krispies shopping list

How to make it

Put all ingredients except Rice Krispies into a large saucepan
Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly
Let boil for 1 minute
Remove from heat
Mix in Rice Krispies
Spread out onto greased cookie sheet
Cool
Cut into squares

Ohmigoodness, do not try Dave's Insanity Sauce on it's own!!!!!! I tried some on a dare at Halloween and nearly choked to death. We had to sign a waiver just to buy the bottle and you only use a drop or two for two quarts of chili. I ingested a drop on the back of my tongue (stupid dare-you-to game) and not only did it clear my sinus passages, it damn near killed me. OHJEEZLOUISE, it was murder. All the ice cream in the world could not tame the hurt.

the above website shows the "heat level" of Dave's at 18,000 and good ol' tabasco a paltry 5000, or 2500.

WOW! Absolutely fantastic recipe! Am I the only one who knows what Dave's Insanity is?! That'll put a kick in your Rice Krispies! And chocolate, too. Great big yummy 5!!!!!!

Think I'll try it without the Dave's! I'm waaaaayyyyy to wimpy for THAT! (i'ts supposed to be an incredibly hot, hot sauce, right?)
