English Pea Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 TBSP butter

2 TBSP flour

1/2 c. milk

1 10 1/2 can cream of mushroom or celery soup

1 tsp worcestershire sauce

2 c. grated chedder cheese

2 no 2 cans of Leseur green peas

salt to taste

Directions

Melt butter, blend in flour and milk cook until thicken, stirring constantly

Stir in soup, worcestershire, and cheese, heat until chese has melted

Add salt and peas.

Pour in a casserole dish

Bake at 350 for 30 min.

I made this for a church potluck and it was gone before any of the other casseroles. I used cream of celery instead of cream of mushrooms and I topped it with townhouse cracker crumbs. It was very good!
