Made this tonight for dinner for a change from plain peas. My 2 year old grandson asked for seconds and ate every bite.

I made this for a church potluck and it was gone before any of the other casseroles. I used cream of celery instead of cream of mushrooms and I topped it with townhouse cracker crumbs. It was very good!

Hello, When I was just a little one my grandma fixed me peas and dumplings. She sad that it was the only thing she could get me to eat.I don't remember but this sounds good to me now. I have not had her cooking since. I was very young and this reminded me of that . thank you! Bean
