How to make it

  • Cream butter, cream cheese and 1 -1/4 c. sugar (or Splenda).
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  • Add baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour, alternately with the milk.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour into a greased 9-in. springform pan.
  • Combine pecans, cinnamon and remaining sugar.
  • Sprinkle over the batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
  • Toothpick should come out clean when done.
  • Cool 15 minutes.
  • Run a knife around edges.
  • Remove sides of pan.
  • Cool before cutting. Makes 10-12 servings.
