Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain oysters and lay each oyster across half a slice of bacon, and sprinkle the seasonings all over the laid out ingredients.
  • Roll bacon around each oyster and fasten with a toothpick. Place oyster on a rack in shallow pan and bake in 450 F oven for about 10 minutes, or until bacon is crisp,
  • Remove toothpicks and serve. Makes about 2 dozen Angels on Horseback. enjoy!!

I love these, Trish! We used to make them all the time and scarfed them down like crazy people. Thanks for the recipe and the reminder...I need to make and eat these. I might even share them with others. :) Vickie

It seems that I've eaten them with a slice of water chestnut wrapped in bacon too. Wouldn't jicama work, too?
Thanks for your interest, guys! Any more ideas, bring them on!!
