Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds spaghetti
  • EVOO
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 jar your favorite spaghetti sauce, (We like Classico Mushroom & Ripe Olive)
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 3 T Italian Seasoning
  • 2 T Chopped Garlic
  • 1 lb 93% lean ground beef
  • 1 small white onion, minced
  • 1 T worcestershire
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 c grated parmesan
  • 2 c shredded mozzerella

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Lightly butter a large casserole dish
  3. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling with 3 - 5 pinches kosher salt and 1 T EVOO until al dente.
  4. Drain well and rinse
  5. While pasta water is coming to a boil
  6. Brown meat with onion, garlic, Italian seasoning and worcestershire
  7. When all pink color has disappeared add sauce and mushrooms
  8. Simmer until spaghetti is done
  9. When spaghetti has been drained and rinsed, stir together with sauce/meat mixture
  10. In a seperate bowl, mix cheeses together (I add a dash of italian seasoning to the cheese)
  11. Spread half the spaghetti mixture in the casserole dish
  12. Top wtih half the cheese
  13. Add remaining spaghetti
  14. Top with remaining cheese
  15. Bake the spaghetti in the center of the oven until the top is golden and bubbly about 25 minutes.
  16. Let cool slightly before serving.
