Cream Cheese Pound Cake

- 2 sticks butter at room temperature shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 8 ounces cream cheese shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 teaspoon butter flavoring shopping list
- 3 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 6 large eggs shopping list
- 3-1/4 cups cake flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter, shortening and cream cheese then add sugar and cream 5 minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time then add 1/3 of the flour and baking powder.
- Fold with mixer gently then add additional third and fold then add remaining third and fold once more.
- Do not over mix then bake in greased and floured tube pan for 90 minutes.
- Do not open oven when baking.
- Cool 30 minutes then remove from pan.
