Toffee Pecan Brownies

- 5 ounces semisweet chocolate shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 2/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 2 eggs separated shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 6 tablespoon whipping cream shopping list
- 2/3 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup chopped toasted pecans shopping list
- 1 ounce semi-sweet chocolate melted shopping list
How to make it
- Cook chocolate and butter over low until melted then cool 5 minutes and beat in sugar.
- Beat in water then egg yolks then vanilla then fold in flour and salt.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into chocolate mixture.
- Pour into greased round cake pan then bake at 350 for 45 minutes then cool completely.
- Cook sugar over medium low heat until completely melted then stir in cream quickly.
- Add butter one tablespoon at a time then stir in nuts and pour over brownies.
- Refrigerate to set topping then drizzle with melted chocolate and cut into wedges.

I will definitely make them soon. I just have to replace the pecans with walnuts, since we don't find pecans around here.
