Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut cheese into 3 wedges or slices 1/4 inch thick
  • place on a broiler pan
  • brush with melted butter
  • broil 4-6 inches from heat until cheese is bubbly and light brown
  • remove from heat
  • pour brandy over the cheese and ignite immediatley
  • sprinkle with lemon juice and serve with bread
  • serves 8......

    I remember when my brother turned me on to a Greek restaurant in Atlanta. The waiters would come out and say "OPA" and have a tray of flaming cheese. We would also have a bottle of a blush wine called "Sta Rosa"....what memories! Thanks tink!!
