Strawberry Delight Recipe

This is a light and delicious dessert. Every time I make this, the bowl empties quick!

Ingredients
- Angel food cake
- Two 8oz. cartons Cool Whip
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 pkg. or jar of strawberry glaze
- 16 oz. strawberries
Directions
- Tear or crumble some angel food cake and fold it into 8 oz. Cool Whip
- Spread this in the bottom of a dish
- Blend cream cheese, vanilla extract and sugar with a hand mixer
- Fold the cream cheese mix into 8 oz. Cool Whip
- Then spread it on top of the first layer in the bowl
- Cut up strawberries
- Mix strawberry glaze and strawberries
- Spread the mix on top of the other two layers
- Refrigerate
- *Better if refrigerated overnight*

That sounds like the perfect summer dessert - our strawberries are so sweet right now, I will have to try this while they are in season. Sounds delicious and refreshing!

Sounds great but I think I'd substitute real whipped cream as I don't like Cool Whip. Thanx for the idea though!
