Ingredients
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Directions
  1. Mix the flour and shortening.
  2. Add the buttermilk and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Place dough on a floured surface and knead until smooth.
  4. Drop them by spoonfuls on to a greased baking sheet and cook in a 400ยบ oven for 15 minutes.
