How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Cream together butter, brown sugar and lemon rind until fluffy.
  • Sift flour and salt together then add to butter mixture.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well then chill several hours.
  • Shape into fingers about 1-1/2 " long and 1/2" in diameter.
  • Roll in egg white beaten with water then roll in chopped nuts and bake 12 minutes.
