These is a simple finger food that you can make plain or spice up.

Ingredients
  • 24 cocktail sausages
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray muffin pan (small size muffin tins) with non-stick spray
  3. Place 1 sausage in each tin
  4. Mix flour, eggs, milk and cheddar. Mix will be consistency of cake batter.
  5. Spoon 1 heaping teaspoon on top of each sausage
  6. Bake 6 minutes or until slightly browned

This dish is named after a young lady who bought my cookbook and has e-mailed telling me that she and her mother have made my Cracker Bars and were looking at other recipes they will be trying.
I made 2 batches of these. In the second batch I added 1 Tablespoon of brown, spicy mustard. That worked great! I'm sure you can come up with other ideas for additions. I would serve these with a dish of mustard.


This looks like a fun idea. Great for a card party.


I usually go the puff pastry route with this type of thing, martha but this look eminently easier to do. Next time out, your recipe will win! Five... thanks!
