- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- Batter: shopping list
- 1 Cup flour,sifted shopping list
- 3/4 Cup sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 Cup shortening,soften shopping list
- 1/2 Cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 Farm Fresh egg shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1 Cup whipping cream shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Make the crust by mixing the flour,salt and baking powder with the shortening.Cut in the water,tossing with fork.Place in baking dish.
- Make filling by melting chocolate in the water and sugar.
- Bring sauce to boil,stirring constantly.
- Add butter and vanilla.
- Make the batter by mixing the flour,sugar,baking powder and salt.
- Add shortening,milk and vanilla.
- Beat,add egg,beat batter about 2 minutes longer.
- Pour batter over crust,then pour chocolate sauce over batter layer,slowly.
- Sprinkle with 1 Cup of chopped Walnuts.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
- Cool.
- Beat the topping ingredients together until fluffly.
- Top the pie with the whipped topping and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
