I love the fact that you used butter to fry them - it does give such a nice taste to the meatballs - sometimes you cannot substitute it whatever you do.

Oh man oh man... you bring back some memories. When I was in grade school, 2 - 4th grades my best friend was Claus ("Klos") from Sweden. He had two brothers Ulfe ("Ufeh") and Jan ("Yan")(whom my older sister had a crush on but I never got her to admit it!). Anyways, I used visit Claus' house often and his mom always made these meatballs. They were fantastic! I had forgotten about them and thanks for bringing back the memories of taste. They were always served with applesauce~ go figure. But they and the combination was good and I loved them. Cheers to you and five forks!
