Two Cheese Party Pastries

- Two cheese Party Pastries shopping list
- ½ package (17 ¼ oz.) frozen pastry sheets (use 1 sheet) shopping list
- 1 ½ cups crumbled blue cheese (about 6 oz.) shopping list
- 1/2 package (8 oz, size) cream cheese, softened shopping list
- ¼ cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 tsp. lemon juice shopping list
- ¼ cup walnuts, chopped shopping list
- chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 1 medium Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced shopping list
How to make it
- Thaw pastry sheet at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400.
- Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 3 strips along fold marks. Cut each strip into 6 rectangles. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until golden. Remove from baking sheet. Cool on wire rack.
- In a medium bowl with electric mixer at low speed, beat blue cheese, cream cheese, cream and lemon juice until smooth.
- Split pastries into 2 layers. Spread 18 halves with 1 TBS. cheese mixture. Top with remaining halves and spread with cheese mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts and parsley. Top each pastry with 1 apple slice. Chill before serving. Makes 18 pastries.
